In fairness to the FairTax - which I don't think is the end-all solution - it doesn't pretend to be flat, so I don't find that argument very relevant and not nearly as insightful as Laurence obviously found himself. :)
I quoted the "the Flat Tax is not fair and the FairTax is not flat" just because I wanted to quote the stuff before and after it. :-)
