They only showed an interest in this issue after Obama became President. Perhaps I am being too cynical, but this suggests the GOP leadership is more interested in symbolic votes to make opponents of taxpayer-funded abortion think they are on their side than actually protecting taxpayers from being forced to subsidize abortions."
